A PA native from the Lehigh Valley, grew up along the Bushkill Creek, still consider it my home stream. Upon retiring from Bureau of State Parks in 2010, moved to New Zealand on the North Island. Fishing is pretty good here, however we face the same threats to water quality as in the states. Unfortunately the current government is determined to gut environmental laws, promote destructive agriculture practices and oil & gas development. Do mostly sight fishing for 2-4 lb rainbows and 3-5 lb browns. A fiberglass rod addict using 4 and 5 weights from Diamondglass, Fenwick, Epic, Steffen Bros and Orvis.
