thread: uni 8/0 to match, orange, pinks, and greens are good color choices for this fly

tail: marabou, light colored, white or cream

body: pink, orange, green, or color to match local scuds

shell back: scud backing , or ziplock bag works too, with crystal flash under for shine

rib: copper wire or mono filoment

pick out dubbing for a buggy legs effect. this is a great high mountain pattern. if you chasing golden trout in the windrivers or high sierras this is the fly to use where a stream dumps into a lake.
