I just wanted to inform our members of some possible legislative action being taken that may impact how the Missouri Department of Conservation operates. Personaly I do not support any of these proposals. If you agree then I strongly encourage you to contact your local representatives.

Currently there are two proposals (HJR 57 and SJR 42) that would give the General Assembly final say on rules passed by MDC.

Also Senator Brian Munzlinger is sponsoring Joint Resolution 29 that would  increase the number of commissioners from 4 to 8.
