Summary:

We stayed at Marble Canyon Lodge which provided us clean affordable rooms. The Lodge has a small restaurant where Chef Joe was both our cook and server. I'd hire 100 Joe's, he had such enthusiasm that you could not help but enjoy your time at the restaurant. Our guide ..... met us at the Lodge the morning of our trip. We then followed him into Lees Ferry. You will need a National Park tag which was no problem for us as we already had one from our Grand Canyon visit.

My only instructions to the guide were to ensure that my wife Wendy caught fish and catch fish she did. We each landed a couple of 16 inchers and I suspect had I instructed him to put me on the big ones he would have done just that...

He has several methods of fishing to accommodate all skill levels, all of which produce fish. The fishery has not been stocked since 1996 so any fish you catch these days will be native born fish. It does not get much better than that.
